· Use the recommended amount of a high-quality detergent for delicate items.
· Silk items should be washed separately, as they are less colourfast than other fabrics.
· We recommend hand-washing delicate items such as lace, lingerie, woollen garments, silk or very dark-coloured items that may fade. Use lukewarm or cold water (below 30 °C) and squeeze gently. Turn items inside out when hanging them up and do not dry them in direct sunlight.
· Clothes should be at least three-quarters dry before ironing. The recommended ironing temperature ranges from 100 °C to 180 °C, depending on the fabric.
· The steam setting should be set to maximum, as ironing silk requires a lot of moisture. Once the silk has been lightly sprayed with water, it should be placed face down on the ironing board and covered with a protective cloth.
· Avoid washing leather goods or using bleach on them. Dry cleaning is recommended for these items.
